| 總統的金句和英語
在1月12日告別記者會中，一開始便以其經典「金句」——大家「misunderestimated me」，作為開場白和自嘲。這「金句」本是布殊在2000年11月6日說的，當時他自作聰明的在「underestimate」一詞前冠上「mis」，用來反擊外界錯誤低估了他，結果創造了一個不倫不類的詞彙。
看看布殊其他的「金句」：
■累累贅贅﹕

■自曝其短﹕
